How do I find the true Mobile Network Operator behind my eSIM service

The only way to find out the true Mobile Network Operator (MNO) providing the service behind your eSIM is to look at the IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) of the eSIM.

The IMSI is a unique 15-digit number in the eSIM that uniquely identifies you to your MNO.

The IMSI is divided into three key parts:
  1. Mobile Country Code (MCC): The first 2 to 3 digits identify the country where the MNO is located.
  2. Mobile Network Code (MNC): The next 2 to 3 digits identify the MNO inside that country.
  3. Mobile Subscription Identification Number (MSIN): The remaining 9 to 10 digits uniquely identify the individual subscriber within their network.

It is not possible to find the IMSI of an eSIM service installed in an iPhone.

However it is possible in most Android phones by selecting the eSIM and dialling *#*#4636#*#* and selecting Phone info from the menu.

Enter the first 6 digits here and we will tell you the Operator providing the backend service for your eSIM. Never divulge your full IMSI number to anyone.
