What is the KYC process for eSIM products?

KYC (Know Your Customer) verification is not required for any of eSIM.net’s products except two specific cases: The Montenegro Tourist 15 and The Serbia Super Tourist local plans. For these plans, KYC is mandatory to comply with regulatory and security standards.

Here’s how the process works:

  1. Select Your Plan: Once you choose a plan that requires KYC (such as the Montenegro Tourist 15 ), you will proceed with the checkout.
  2. KYC Verification: After checkout, you will be prompted to complete the KYC process. This involves sharing a valid form of identification as requested. This step is simple and straightforward. Important: Without this you will not receive your QR code.
