Purchase options and recurring plans
All of our products except the O2 and Vodafone Standard and Premium products are single-purchase plans, unless the product is explicitly described as recurring or has been converted into a recurring plan by an available extension option. For single-purchase plans, only one payment is taken.
There is an option to extend some Vodafone Travel, O2 Travel and EE Travel products, including EE Europe Travel, so that you can keep the telephone number for longer. Where this option is available and used, it converts that travel plan into a recurring plan.
Note: This extension option does not apply to Three UK or Three Travel products as they are single-purchase, one-off plans.
Additionally, during the purchase process, there may be an option to pay for 3, 6, or 12 months for some recurring and non-recurring products, including Vodafone, O2 and EE products, in order to save money.
Please note that extending a plan will not help restore service in the calendar month that a spendcap has been triggered. The only way to restore service is to wait until the start of a new calendar month.
Note: The O2 SMS Only Global eSIM is a recurring monthly subscription and continues until cancelled.
