How do I stop my eSIM working on an old, lost or stolen phone, or move it to a new device?

If your phone has been lost, stolen, reset or replaced, log in to My eSIM and select the affected plan.

If your plan supports replacement eSIMs, you should see an option to request a New QR Code. Use this option if you need to move the service to a new phone. Once the new QR Code/SIM swap has been completed and the new eSIM is installed, the service is moved to the new eSIM and the old eSIM should no longer be able to use the plan.

A New QR Code is different from resending the original QR code. Resending the original QR code only sends the original purchase email again. If the original QR code has already been installed or used, it normally cannot be reused on another phone.

If the New QR Code option is not shown in My eSIM, your product may not support moving the eSIM to another device. Orange, Orange Spain, Bouygues and Data-Only plans are single-use and normally cannot be moved after installation. If one of these eSIMs was already installed on a phone that has been lost, stolen, reset or replaced, you will usually need to buy a new plan.

If you are unsure whether your plan supports a New QR Code, log in to My eSIM and check whether the New QR Code option is available for that plan.
