An Orange Spain eSIM is a digital SIM plan for customers who need mobile data while travelling to or residing in Spain. It is installed directly on an eSIM-compatible phone, so there is no physical SIM card to collect or swap. The Orange Spain range is suitable for ex-pats, holidays, business trips, navigation, messaging apps, streaming, remote working and longer stays where a high data allowance is useful.

After purchase, your Orange Spain eSIM details are sent by email as a QR code. On iPhone, go to Settings > Mobile Data > Add eSIM > Use QR Code and scan the code. On Android, open your mobile network or SIM manager settings, choose to add a mobile plan or carrier, and scan the QR code. Make sure your phone is eSIM-compatible, unlocked and connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data before installation.

For best results, install and activate your Orange Spain eSIM when you are ready to use it in Spain, or close to your travel date. Once installed, turn the eSIM on, set it as your mobile data line and enable Data Roaming (not required in Spain). If the plan does not connect automatically, restart your phone or try manual network selection.

This is NOT required in Spain but you must do this when in other EU countries.

Yes. You can normally use your Orange Spain eSIM as a personal hotspot or for tethering, subject to your device settings and the data allowance on your plan. Hotspot usage comes out of the same data allowance, so a larger Orange Spain plan may be better if you plan to connect a laptop, tablet or multiple devices.

No. Orange Spain eSIM QR codes are intended for single-device use and should not be treated as reusable on another phone. If you change or lose your phone after installing the eSIM, you will normally need to buy a new data plan. Only install the eSIM on the phone you intend to use for your trip.
