Activating your eSIM is simple and can be done in a few steps, depending on your device:
Long-press the QR code from the Mail app and tap Add eSIM to activate.
Important: This method only works with the Mail app on your iPhone. If you're using Gmail, Outlook, or another email client, you won't be able to use the long press method. In that case, download the QR code PDF, then follow the regular steps to install the eSIM.
For Android (Version 9 or later):
Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager.
Tap Add eSIM, then follow the prompts to activate the eSIM.
Note: Your eSIM data and calls will work whether Wi-Fi is on or off. However, if your phone is still connected to Wi-Fi, it will use Wi-Fi for internet instead of your eSIM data. If you want to use your eSIM mobile data straight away, just turn off or disconnect Wi-Fi.
